Who Needs an MW4 Beta Code

You need an MW4 beta code only if you preordered a physical edition from a Participating retailer. The code is usually printed on the store receipt or sent in the email receipt for online orders.

If you preordered through the Microsoft Store, PlayStation Store, Battle.net, or Steam, you do not need a code. Those digital preorders are validated automatically for Early Access.

Common Code Problems

Missing receipt code

For a physical preorder, the code appears on the retail receipt or in the email receipt. If it is missing, the retailer can reissue it or confirm the preorder details.

Code already redeemed

Use the Activision Account you plan to play on. If the code was redeemed on the wrong account, Early Access stays on that profile.

Digital preorder with no code

Digital preorders through the Microsoft Store, PlayStation Store, Battle.net, and Steam are registered automatically for Early Access. Install the beta from the matching platform account.

What to Do Next

If you have a physical preorder, redeem the 13-character code at callofduty.com/betaredeem with your Activision Account, then preload the beta on your platform when it appears. Digital preorders through the Microsoft Store, PlayStation Store, Battle.net, or Steam are already registered for Early Access. The beta opens on August 21, and Weekend Two starts on August 28.
