How to Solo the Boss Event in Anime Vanguard with One Mythic!

Hey there, Vanguard fans! If you’ve been struggling to solo the boss event in Anime Vanguard, you’re not alone. After posting my last guide, I realized many of you still had trouble beating the event. So, I decided to create an updated strategy using just one mythic character—specifically Cha-In—to help you easily solo the event.

Why This Method Works

The key to this method is hyper-focusing on Cha-In’s abilities. Her powerful area-of-effect (AOE) attacks, combined with smart use of debuffs and buffs, allow her to control the battlefield and take down waves of enemies—making her an ideal choice for soloing this event.

What You’ll Need:

  • Cha-In (SSA stats): She’ll be your main damage dealer.
  • Alligator: To slow down enemies.
  • Pain: For pushing back mobs (recently fixed, so he works properly now).
  • Takaroda: Buffs Cha-In’s range and adds crucial damage output.

Now, let’s break down how to set up this strategy step by step.

Chen
Cha-In

Setting Up Your Defense

  1. Farm Early: Start by farming as much as possible in the early rounds. You want to upgrade your farm quickly to keep your resources flowing.
  2. Positioning Is Key: Place Takaroda slightly above the middle to boost Cha-In’s range, allowing her to cover most of the map. In the first few waves, use Alligator and Pain to slow enemies and push them back.
  3. Cha-In’s Placement: You want to place Cha-In in key locations where her range covers the most enemies. Focus on upgrading her so she can handle multiple mobs at once.

Mid-Game Strategy

As the game progresses, continue upgrading Cha-In and make sure her attacks cover the lanes where the enemies are heaviest. Place your Alligators strategically to slow the waves, and use Pain to keep pushing them back. Your goal here is to control the flow of enemies so Chen can land as many hits as possible.

By the time Eager (the first boss) spawns, you should have maxed out your farm and most of Cha-In’s abilities. With Takaroda’s buffs and the slowing effects of Alligator, you’ll be able to manage the boss without too much trouble.

Late-Game Adjustments

When the final boss spawns, this is where things can get tricky. You’ll need to resell and reposition Cha-In as needed to keep her in range of the boss. Sell any units that are no longer useful and focus on keeping the boss slowed and within Chen’s attack range.

Extra Tips:

  • Keep an eye on your debuffs: Make sure that all your debuff units like Alligator are placed correctly to maximize their slowing effects.
  • Don’t forget to sell and reposition: Once the boss moves out of range, sell and reposition your units for maximum effectiveness.
  • Keep your units close to Takaroda: Her buffs are essential to making sure Cha-In can deal as much damage as possible.

Final Thoughts

I hope this updated strategy makes soloing the boss event easier for you! The key is patience, positioning, and making sure you stay on top of your farming and upgrades. If you don’t have Cha-In, try using an alternative Mythic, but remember that the core of this method is careful use of debuffs and positioning.
